Liverpool have entered talks over a shock loan deal for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Brazilian sources say Liverpool are willing to cough up big to take Damiao on-loan with the view to signing him permanently in June.

The Reds are prepared to pay £3 million now for the striker ahead of another £13 million at the end of the season.

Tottenham have also tried for Damiao this summer.
