Liverpool remain keen on Fortuna Sittard defender Perr Schuurs.

The Daily Mail says the 17-year-old is already a regular with Fortuna Sittard's first team and has captained the side this season.

He was invited to Liverpool for a training stint earlier this year and the Anfield side have been impressed with his progress.

They are not alone as Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City have also shown interest in the 6ft 3ins centre-back who has scored three goals this season.

Liverpool, however, watched him again last week as Schuurs played for Holland U19s against Hungary and Slovenia.
