Liverpool are believed to still be showing interest in AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm.
The Reds checked on the 24-year old Swede when former director of football Damien Comolli was in charge and recent reports suggest that manager Kenny Dalglish is still keen to bring the player to Anfield.
Elm, who is valued at £7million, has scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Dutch club this season and has emerged as one of the most sought-after young players in Holland recently.
