Liverpool continue to be linked with Jaguares striker Jackson Martinez.
Local Mexican media sources say Liverpool are in advanced talks with Jaguares over a deal for the Colombian ace.
Porto have also been linked, however Liverpool are regarded as favorites for Martinez.
A Bola says a spokesman for Jaguares has denied reports of a cash advancement of $3 million being paid by Liverpool for the striker ahead of completing his signing for $9 million.
