Liverpool face a losing battle in their chase for Marseille fullback Taye Taiwo.
The Nigeria international is a favourite of Liverpool chief Damien Comolli and will leave l'OM when his contract expires in June.
However, The Sun says Taiwo, 25, seems likely to opt for AC Milan ahead of Anfield.
Taiwo admitted yesterday his priority was to get a move to the San Siro.
