Liverpool are in talks with the agent of Sampdoria goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

The Argentine is under consideration at Liverpool as they seek a new, senior No1.

Romero is off contract in June and shares the same agent as Reds striker Mario Balotelli, Mino Raiola.

TMW says Liverpool and Raiola have been in regular contact over recent weeks regarding Romero's situation.

A January move cannot be ruled out, with Reds boss Brendan Rodgers dropping his senior No1 Simon Mignolet after losing confidence in the Belgian.
