Liverpool are interested in signing Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam this summer, according to reports from Italian outlet Gianluca Di Marzio.

While James Milner performed admirably in an unfamiliar role as a left-back last season, Liverpool is looking for a specialist in that position this summer as they prepare for a return back into the Champions League.

Now according to reports emerging out of Italy, claims have been made that Liverpool are currently considering a swoop for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam.

Ghoulam has been one of the most consistent defenders in Serie A over the past few seasons and Reds' boss Jurgen Klopp has allegedly viewed the Algerian international as the ideal long term solution to his problems at left-back.
