Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has been spotted having lunch with Reds skipper Steven Gerrard.
Cisse is currently playing in Greece with Panathinaikos and has been linked with a return to England at Gerard Houllier's Aston Villa.
The Daily Mail says Gerrard was seen having lunch with Cisse on Monday afternoon, fuelling speculation that the striker is set for a sensational return to Anfield.
His meeting with Gerrard, who holds huge influence at the club in his role as skipper, suggests that there is genuine interest from Reds boss Roy Hodgson.
