Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule this summer.

German publication Bild is reporting Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is a fan of Sule from his time in the Bundesliga and believes the 20-year-old can help to sure-up Liverpool's leaky defence.

At 6 feet 5 inches, Sule cuts an imposing figure in the heart of defence and is considered one of the brightest young prospects currently plying his trade in Germany.

It is understood Klopp is excited by the prospect of being able to develop the youngster, who has been a regular in Hoffenheim's first XI since 2013.
