Liverpool are in talks with Lille to cut short the loan of Divock Origi.

The Reds splashed out £10m to sign the Belgium forward from Lille in the summer.

But, as part of that deal, Origi was loaned straight back to the French club.

The Sun says Liverpool chiefs are now in discussions to cut the 19-year-old's loan spell short.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is desperate to secure more firepower in January and believes Origi is the man to revitalise his failing forward line.
