Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has wrote off their top four chances.

Nicol also believes Arsenal won't finish in the Champions League places next season.

"Liverpool haven't really done anything so far to really shake themselves up in the transfer market," he said.

"Mohamed Salah is a good signing but it just solidifies the quality they have in the front three but that's it.

"Manchester United on the other hand aren't going to give much away, they've probably got the best keeper in the world in (David) De Gea.

"I think (Paul) Pogba will be better than last year and if (Marcus) Rashford and (Romelu) Lukaku can strike up a partnership, then you've got goals.

"That's why I think Manchester United will finish above Liverpool."
