Liverpool legend Graeme Souness is a big fan of youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold.
West Derby-born Alexander-Arnold, 18, played 68 minutes of Tuesday night's EFL Cup victory before being replaced by Nathaniel Clyne with Liverpool two goals up.
Souness told Sky Sports: "He looks extremely athletic, quick, aggressive.
"He has all the attributes to be a top player. He's in great shape for a ground-coverer… light on his feet, and he's aggressive. He got himself in trouble once in the first half, but overall I thought he was very good."
