Liverpool legend Graeme Souness says Marouane Fellaini was key to Manchester United earning a point yesterday.

Fellaini has been showered with praise after coming off the bench to help Man United to a 1-1 derby draw with Liverpool.

The Belgian saw his header hit the post before Antonio Valencia picked up the loose ball and crossed for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to head in the equaliser.

Souness said: “Liverpool were really good in the first half, kept the ball, threatening, set pieces and at half time Klopp would've been delighted.

“Second half, they came under a different type of pressure, Man U just launched it.

“It wasn't long, Ibrahimovic is a big unit and then they bring on Fellaini and that really changed the game.

“There's more than one way to win a football match and you have to say that it was a great finish by Ibrahimovic"
