Liverpool legend Graeme Souness says Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne is destined for greatness.

Souness says De Bruyne is "destined to be a star" following his man-of-the-match performance in Manchester City's win over Manchester United.

He told Sky Sports: "I think it was a surprise for everyone when he was allowed to leave Chelsea, then he goes to the Bundesliga and he's a star there.

"I think he's got everything, two great feet, he's quick, he's got a football brain, which is one of the most important things you can have.

"He is destined to be a star."
