Liverpool legend Ian Rush still rates Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
Rush wrote in the Daily Mail: "Torres was the best striker in the world at Liverpool. He's still a great player. He's had injury problems, though. Sometimes at Chelsea, he has played a slightly different role. At Liverpool, he was playing on the shoulder and was extremely quick. He's different now. Mourinho would like Rooney but if he doesn't get him, then Torres could be the answer. He must still have the quality but he needs the confidence.
"It can't help his confidence when Mourinho plays with no strikers at Old Trafford. Torres has got to battle for his place. He can come off the bench and win the game. "
