Liverpool legend Steve Nicol says they must go for Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony.
Nicol believes Bony could be the man to fill the void left by Luis Suarez.
"They need another striker," he told talkSPORT.
"It's unlikely that Daniel Sturridge is going to stay fit and be able to play every game.
"Rickie Lambert is a great pro, a good player, but he is not going to win you the Premier League title or do anything in the Champions League.
"I'm sorry they haven't got Wilfried Bony because I think he would be a great player for Liverpool.
"He's a proven striker in the Premier League, he scores goals, and he has played with a side that is similar in style to Liverpool.
"He would settle into Liverpool very quickly. I'm hoping that would be the signing."
