Manchester United are expected to face the New England Revolution later this year at Foxboro stadium in Boston.

The Boston Globe says United are tipped to play Steve Nicol's Revs on July 14 as part of their preseason tour of the USA.

The match is expected to draw a sellout 50,000-plus crowd.

The addition of the game in Foxborough means Manchester United could spend much of the early part of its tour training in the Boston area. The Revolution recently changed the date of an MLS game against Philadelphia to accommodate the visit of Manchester United.
