Liverpool legend Steve Nicol doesn't rate the players as top four quality. Nicol says the players outside of the first team aren't up to the job at Liverpool.

"Kenny Dalglish has made progress and they should stick with him," Nicol told talkSPORT. "Why would you start again?

"Liverpool don't have a big enough or strong enough squad, though. Their first XI would give anyone a game, but they don't have the quality past that.

"They don't have the quality to match the top four sides."
