Liverpool legend Steve Nicol says it would take something special for him to return to Europe.

Nicol hopes to make it third time lucky tomorrow when he leads New England Revolution into the MLS Cup final. He has seen his men fall at the final hurdle in the last two years, including a penalty shootout loss to Houston in 2006. Now they face the reigning champs in a title rematch.

Nicol said: "There's more money in Europe but you'll lead a miserable life if you do it only for the money."
