Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson feels Alan Pardew could affect Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley's sale plans.
Pardew is facing a lengthy ban after headbutting Hull City midfielder David Meyler on Saturday.
Lawro wrote in the Mirror: "It was absolutely extraordinary and the problem for Pardew is that he has previous in that department. He clearly has anger management issues, but trying to head-butt anyone is beyond the pale from a manager and he must be banned for the rest of the season.
"I think Mike Ashley would sell Newcastle for the right price, but the big question is whether it would be easier to sell the club with Pardew as manager or without him at the helm."
