Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson hailed the performance of Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone for victory over his old club .
He wrote in the Mirror: "Tom Huddlestone bossed the game. Everything is really, really simple to him. If you only need one touch you only take one touch.
"He has this laconic, almost lazy style, but he sees the bigger picture all the time.
"One of the great things about Huddlestone is he passes the ball where you want it, not where he wants to pass it. It just keeps the team ticking over. He's a big unit and he's difficult to play against."
