Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is open to signing with Blackpool.
The 36-year-old was invited to train with Blackpool by manager Ian Holloway, who has seen enough to suggest Fowler can still make a contribution to his side's title push.
"I don't know what will happen, to be honest, I haven't had much time to think about it as I was only asked to go in and see the club on Thursday.
"But I have a lot of respect for Ian - he's a really decent guy and I admire the way his teams play football. If I can help out in any way then I'd love to
get involved." "I haven't kicked a ball for five or six weeks, so I'm a bit rusty, but my overall fitness is very good, and I've enjoyed working with the Blackpool lads," Fowler told the Mirror.
