Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler says Diego Costa should quit Chelsea.
Fowler insists he wouldn't think any less of the Brazil-born Spain international if he did decide to head for the Far East.
The former Liverpool striker told the Mirror: "If it's true he's being offered £800,000 a week, I wouldn't condemn him at all.
"He's 28, he's won the league with Chelsea and has been a big part in why they will probably do it again this season.
"He has no loyalty to England, no ties. He came here to earn good money at Stamford Bridge and win medals, and he's done that.
"He's already travelled half way round the world to make a living, so going to China is a natural step towards the end of his career.
"Who can say with their hand on heart they wouldn't be interested in such mind-blowing sums? But for other reasons too.
"If stars like Costa go out there, then it can have a massive impact for the game in China.
"I'd actually applaud him for having the courage to be one of the first...though £800,000 a week would be enough to make me braver.
"I'd get in the ring with Conor McGregor for that."
