Liverpool hero Jan Molby feels Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't fully believe in his Manchester United team.
The Dane explained in his column for the Liverpool Echo: "I had a feeling Alex Ferguson would change the way Manchester United play when they came to Liverpool FC - but I was still shocked by their line-up.
"It just underlined for me that their manager doesn't fully trust his team.
"He changed his formation because he was worried what we would do to them rather than backing his best players to take the game to us.
"Ferguson put out a physically strong side because he feared that Liverpool would out-battle them.
"Nobody could have second guessed that line-up with Phil Jones and Darren Fletcher in centre midfield.
"At 1-0 down Ferguson gambled and United managed to find an equaliser their general play didn't deserve.
"It was disappointing because United were there for the taking and it was a missed opportunity."
