Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was impressed by Paul Pogba's debut for Manchester United last night.

Pogba shone in victory over Southampton.

Carragher said on Sky Sports: "He was all over the pitch. You talk about a holding midfielder player and an attacking midfield player, he was like an old fashioned midfield player. He covered every blade of grass.

"That was what he was like. The only way to describe his performance was like he was the best kid in the school playing ground. All over the place doing what he wanted."
