Liverpool legend John Aldridge is becoming concerned over the lack of energy coming from Brendan Rodgers' team this season.
Aldridge wrote in the Sunday World: "Life after Suarez seems to have produced a team that will be nowhere near as prolific as they were with the Uruguayan - and I predict that they will not match the century of league goals they managed last season.
"Pace, power and flair were evident in most games as Liverpool finished second in dazzling fashion last season, but the team Rodgers is marshalling now is showing signs of inconsistency as the host of new signings try to find their feet at a new club and, for many of them, in a new league."
