Liverpool have left Mamadou Sakho out of their squad for Germany this week.

The Reds play Hertha Berlin on Saturday before traveling to Bavaria to play Bayern Munich.

Their Teutonic trip concludes with a friendly on August 2, although their opponent is yet to be decided.

Danny Ings and Sadio Mane have both been passed fit for the trip while Emre Can also joins up with the squad for his first involvement in pre-season.

New signing Andrew Robertson has also been named among the 30-strong group.

There is no place for Sakho though, who remains a target for Crystal Palace this summer.
