Liverpool are preparing a January offer for PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.Arsenal were interested in the attacking midfielder during the late stages of the summer transfer window, tabling a late but ultimately unsuccessful bid in the last few hours on deadline day.
Gazzetta Dello Sport says Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is now looking to sign the Argentine international when the transfer window reopens.
"Now we can only concentrate on the league up until Christmas," he hinted this week.
"So we have to make sure we stay up in that top six in the league and keep fighting and hopefully we can reinforce in January."
