Liverpool to launch new contract talks with Henderson

Liverpool are ready to open new contract talks with Jordan Henderson.

The Daily Mail says Henderson, who cost £16million from Sunderland in June 2011, will have two years left on his contract at the end of this season but he has become an important figure for Brendan Rodgers.

The Reds intend to open talks about a new deal at the end of this campaign.
