Liverpool and Bristol Academy both won on Thursday as the prospect of a winner-takes-all title decider between the sides moved a step closer, reports BBC Sport. The Reds beat rivals Everton 4-2 whilst Bristol overcame Birmingham 1-0.

Academy are five points behind leaders Liverpool, but they have a game in hand.
