Liverpool are keeping tabs on Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas. Lancenet says Liverpool are becoming increasingly active in the Brazilian transfer market this year - with young Lucas high on their agenda.

Sao Paulo resisted interest from Tottenham and Liverpool over the summer, quoting a price of €80 million.

However, those close to the club say a bid of €22 million would be enough to convince them to sell. Along with Lucas, Liverpool are also interested in Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.
