Liverpool U18 midfielder Karl Clair has revealed Jamie Carragher is making a big impact as coach with the academy.

Carragher has been working with the club's youngsters this season as he works towards his UEFA coaching qualifications.

Clair told liverpoolfc.tv: "Well he's very loud! Quite similar to how he is as a player. He's good but he makes you laugh too! It's great to listen to him and all the lads enjoyed the sessions with him. I'm sure the under-16 lads are loving it this year too."

Asked if Carra will make it as a manager, Clair adds: "Oh definitely, yes. He knows the game inside out and he's got the personality and mentality to do it."
