Jonjo Shelvey was delighted to feature for Liverpool in Jamie Carragher's testimonial.

The winger arrived in the summer from Charlton Athletic.

Shelvey told liverpoolfc.tv: "It was a great honour to play at Anfield in Jamie Carragher's testimonial. I'll be getting the shirt I wore on the day framed. You hear about the crowd and I've sat in the directors' box for a few games, but to actually be out there on the pitch, hearing the Kop - it's something that words can't describe. It is an unreal experience."
