Liverpool keeping tabs on Leicester defender Ben Chilwell

Liverpool are keeping tabs on Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell.

The Mirror says Liverpool are resigned to losing Alberto Moreno at the end of the season. The Spaniard is off contract in June.

Liverpool will keep the defender until the summer, where they hope to line up a replacement, with new England sensation Chilwell a long term target, and manager Jurgen Klopp a big admirer of the left back.

But Klopp also has quiet confidence in the incredible promise of 18 year old starlet Adam Lewis, who has made huge strides in the Anfield youth system, and has been gently brought into the first team fold.

The German said last month:“I am fine with what I've seen so far but Leicester will be different. Their midfield is really strong.

“Their defence has played together for a while. Chilwell is a massive player for them. He has a great future, looks big talent."
