Liverpool keeper Reina proud to reach game No300

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is proud to be reaching his latest landmark.

The 28-year-old is due to play his 300th game in a Liverpool shirt against Braga - something he never imagined would happen when he arrived from Villarreal in the summer of 2005.

"No, I didn't really think it would happen," Reina told Liverpoolfc.tv. "It was difficult to think because you are moving to a new country and you don't know how you are going to settle down or what the people are going to think about you.

"I am really proud of this amount of games and it's not something I imagined.

"I trust myself and I knew I could be a good 'keeper here but to play 300 games - I think I've been really lucky and I'm really proud to have played in each one."
