Liverpool keeper Mignolet immediately focusing on Stoke

Simon Mignolet says it is vital that Liverpool quickly bounce back from the weekend's loss to West Ham United.

The Reds were beaten 2-0 at Upton Park by the Hammers on Saturday but get the chance to respond when they meet Stoke City in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg at the Britannia Stadium.

Mignolet is aware just how important it is for Jurgen Klopp's side to hit back with a positive display and has identified the quick back-up as a positive for he and his teammates.

"We've got a new game coming up very early, the semi-final, so hopefully we can put things straight there because it's very important," Mignolet told the club's official website.

"Hopefully we can do well against Stoke. Any game we play we want to win. We focus on the next game in hand. We're featuring in all competitions and that's a positive thing.

"We can do well in all of the cup competitions we're featuring in. We'll try to do our best in the next game - that's Stoke so we'll focus on that."
