Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee has make a shock move for Real Madrid target Jerzy Dudek.
Lee has offered the Poland keeper a three-year deal at the Reebok.
Dudek, 34, is wanted by Real but is still considering his future after quitting Liverpool.
Lee has guaranteed Dudek a fair fight to be Bolton's first-choice if he chooses the Reebok.
And Dudek knows he will be Iker Casillas' understudy at Real Madrid.
He said: "I made a decision to leave England but Bolton's offer has made me have a rethink.
"I still haven't signed anything with Real Madrid and I have other offers to consider very carefully."
