Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward is delighted with his loan switch to Huddersfield Town.

The 23-year-old is in the early stages of a loan stay with the Championship outfit, who are managed by Jürgen Klopp's old friend David Wagner.

"For myself personally, Huddersfield is the perfect place," he told liverpoolfc.com.

"The way the manager wants to play football is very similar to how my parent club play.

"I know the managers are friends and they are obviously going to speak a lot, which is a good thing for myself.

"I don't mind them talking about me as long as it means I'm doing well!"
