Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri hopes to be allowed to move away on-loan next season.

The Brazilian is wanted by Benfica and said: "I came to Europe to try and be a success with the Reds.

"But because I have not had too many chances this loan option may be a good idea.

"I must speak with Benitez to see what he thinks my future at the club is."
