Liverpool have joined Manchester United and Arsenal in their interest for Borussia Dortmund attacker Shinji Kagawa.
The Japan international is a confirmed target for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, while he was the subject of fresh interest from United this week.
Reports emerged United were preparing a bid for Kagawa ahead of the January market.
However, Sportmediaset says they will now face competition from Liverpool, where both manager Kenny Dalglish and football chief Damien Comolli are admirers of the inside-forward.
