Liverpool are making a serious attempt to sign Leon Bailey in this transfer window.

While the Reds have been active in the market, signing Fabinho and finalizing the deal for Naby Keita, they want more.

The wide positions are an area where manager Jurgen Klopp wants more depth.

And according to Calcio Insider, they have made Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen as their top target.

Any move for Bailey would cost in the region of €80 million, according to a report from Metro earlier this summer. The likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also interested in the winger.

Bailey managed 9 goals and 6 assists in the Bundesliga this past season.
