Liverpool are chasing Burnley fullback Kieran Trippier.
The Times says Liverpool could be set to move for Trippier as they seek to add to their full-back options this summer, after being rebuffed in their attempts to sign Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne.
The England defender was the subject of a £10million approach from the Reds, but it was reportedly turned down by the Saints.
And that has seen Brendan Rodgers and the club's transfer committee turn their attentions to 24-year-old Trippier, who impressed on his Premier League debut last term, despite the Clarets relegation.
