Liverpool are inviting offers for Pepe Reina as they close in on a deal for Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.The Sun says Mignolet's arrival at Liverpool should mean Reina, 30, ends his eight-year stay at Anfield.

The Spaniard has long been linked with Barcelona as a replacement for Victor Valdes.

Valdes this week insisted he intended to see out his contract at the Nou Camp which runs out next year.

But the Reds are open to offers for Reina who is one of the club's highest earners but has underperformed in the last couple of campaigns.
