Liverpool deny they're in talks to sell Maxi Rodriguez.

The Argentina winger has been linked with a move to Newell's Old Boys.

The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool insists there have been no discussions with Newell's about transferring Rodriguez, who had been expected to leave Anfield this summer.

Rodriguez started out with Newell's in 1999 before moving to Europe three years later when he signed for Espanyol.
