Liverpool inform Juventus of Meireles cash asking price
Liverpool have informed Juventus of their asking price for Raul Meireles.
The Mirror says Liverpool have told Juventus they can have Meireles for £13.5million.
Juventus are eyeing up Meireles and have offered Liverpool cash plus Felipe Melo.
The Reds are not interested in Brazil midfielder Melo and have told the Serie A side that they will only consider a straight cash bid.

The reason for not buying Aquilani was not a question of whether we could afford the transfer fee. Liverpool wanted 16 million and seeing as we have already signed Andrea Pirlo, the signing of Aquilani made little sense. Juventus have 120 million available for transfers this summer, so please don't assume we can't afford your players. Meireles would be an excellent signing for The Bianconeri...let's make it happen.
