Liverpool icon Jan Molby has no doubts new signing Milan Jovanovic will prove his class.

Jovanovic will join Liverpool after the World Cup on a Bosman from Standard Liege.

Molby told liverpoolfc.tv: "I did manage to see him and I felt as though he fell into how Serbia played on the day - they were really disappointing and I'd expected a lot more from them.

"But I am confident they are better than their display against Ghana and I also know Jovanovic can play. He's got real pace and he'll be an excellent signing if we get him. I am not worried - there is much more to come from him."
