Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard insists he has no regrets not leaving for a title challenging club.
Gerrard can rationalise his decision to stay at Liverpool when richer clubs like Chelsea wanted him.
"I could have moved, I could have earned more money," he said. "I could have had a better chance of winning the League. But I have no regrets about the decision I made.
"This is where I'm going to live the rest of my life. These are the people that are important to me. My decision came down to whether I wanted to win more trophies at Chelsea or another club, or win less but have the trophies and medals that mean more to me.
"I have two years left on my contract at Liverpool and, realistically, I am quite a distance away from winning the League at the moment. I have to take that on the chin."
