Liverpool hero Steve McManaman has upset Wolves fans after a hot mic moment.

The Mirror says McManaman to be sacked by BT Sport after he was heard taking a swipe at Wolves before his microphone was switched off.

The pundit, seemingly thinking he was off-air, was caught saying, "I don't like Wolves," after their 2-2 draw with Everton on Saturday night.

McManaman, who played for clubs including Liverpool and Real Madrid, grew up supporting Everton.

Viewers branded him "unprofessional" and "biased" after his on-air gaffe, with many urging the broadcaster to axe him completely or at least keep him off punditry duties for Wolves games.
