Liverpool legend Terry McDermott has been impressed by young Reds striker Nathan Eccleston since his arrival at Huddersfield.
McDermott is No2 at Huddersfield and says Eccleston has a future in the game.
He told liverpoolfc.tv: "Nathan's done very well. In his first game he scored the winning goal for us, so he's certainly been doing his bit.
"He was sent off a few weeks ago and has been suspended for the past few games. I felt the red card was a little bit unjust because both players went into the challenge fully committed.
"He's a bit frustrated at the moment but what I like about him is that he has been brought up the right way at Liverpool. He's been taught the right way and certainly has a future in the game, there's no doubt about that.
"When he goes back to Liverpool next season, he'll have played at this level and he'll return with a taste for it. You are playing against men in this league and it helps to toughen you up, which will only benefit Liverpool as well."
