Liverpool in head-to-head Real Betis battle for Ryad Boudebouz
The race for Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz is set to be a straight shootout between Real Betis and Liverpool.
Marca says Betis are prepared to challenge the Reds for the young Algerian, who would be guaranteed immediate first team action if he chose Seville over Merseyside.
Liverpool chief Damien Comolli, meanwhile, is determined to land Boudebouz in January and already held a round of talks with Sochaux officials in France last week.
"Liverpool are a big club and there has been contact," confessed Boudebouz earlier this year.
